Flitskaart privacy policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Flitskaart follows the general privacy policy, with the additions below.
In short
Flitskaart collects no personal data. There is no account, no server of its own, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. That applies to everyone, including children.
What the app stores
Your decks, cards, progress, streaks and source photos are stored on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, they are also kept in your own private iCloud so they appear on your other iPhones and iPads. That storage is covered by Apple's privacy policy; the developer has no access to it.
Photos and speech
When you photograph a word list, the text is recognized on your device, optionally with help from Apple Intelligence running on the device itself. The photo is not sent to a server. Read-aloud uses the voices on your device.
Notifications and widgets
Reminders, card notifications and widgets are scheduled and filled on your device. Nothing goes through a server.
Purchases
The one-time purchase Flitskaart Full is handled by Apple. The app only learns that the purchase succeeded; payment details stay with Apple.
What you send yourself
When you share a deck, or send feedback or a poorly recognized photo, that only happens when you choose to, through AirDrop, Messages or your own mail app. A feedback mail includes the app and iOS version and the device type so a problem can be traced. Such a mail is only used to answer your question and improve the app.
Deleting data
Delete decks and cards in the app. Delete the app to erase all local data. Remove data from iCloud in the app before deleting it, or via Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage.
